Magali Luque

Magali Luque is a singer/songwritter from Peru.

She began her musical career studying choral conducting, later entered the Conservatoire National Music to follow the specialty of bass . After several years devoted to academic music, decides to migrate to the popular music and became founder and leader of the bands 'Sandalwood' and then 'Lunazul'.

For its quality eclectic composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and large, expressive vocal range is constantly called by various musicians and directors of the local scene, theater, film and dance. (theme song 'Buena Onda' for a UNICEF campaign....).

She released her first album called 'Lunazul' with her band (2000). She released her solo album called 'Basic' (2007), which explores various areas of sound, a rich timbre based mostly on acoustic instruments mainly executed by her.

She has just released her second solo 'Voy' which includes unusual instruments like he Dan Bau (Vietnam) or the symphonic Tuba among others, that give a rich timbre and is very particular and known compositions.
