Rachel Zylstra is a singer-songwriter who plays piano (nine years of classical piano training). After spending six years in Grand Rapids, Rachel Zylstra moved to Manhattan in Pennsylvania becoming a famous artists on the New York scene.
She has been a nominee for best folk album, semi-finalist for Discmakers' Independent Musician World Series, honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest..
Her music is pop-jazz-folk. In addition to her talent as a pianist, she has a wonderful voice! She has recorded two great albums: 'From Most of It Is True' (2005) and 'From Before You Could Decide' (2008).
